SIXGEN requested branding and a website to promote their annual offensive capture the flag event called "Hack Back". In this 24 hour battle teams were given a set of challenges with increasing difficulty to ultimately find and declare the best of the best.
Using vector illustration tools, I came up with a few different logo options to choose from. Each option was in keeping with SIXGEN's existing branding. The icon represents an "H" and a "B" and has a similar shape to the SIXGEN icon.
I created multiple options; horizontal, stacked, and icon options as well as inverted black and white. This ensured that the logo will be displayed properly no matter where it will be used, and what color background it's placed on.
Next, I used Adobe Illustrator to create vector imagery that represents the "capture the flag" side of the event. When finalizing the graphic, I added detail to the figures in the group to represent a more diverse audience.
I designed a sticker to handout before and at the event. I used a QR code for easy access to the site. We decided to move forward with the die-cut diamond shaped option.
